In an attempt to find more female poets I came across Angela Aguirre, I found this poem that was featured on All Def Poetry’s YouTube channel. This poem does contain strong language so if you are uncomfortable with that I wouldn’t consider watching. It focuses on the societal standard that, ” pretty girls can’t have big brains”.
